Our intensive one-year MBA program begins with a four-week toolbox and four individual modules, addressing different stages in the growth of a business. The toolbox is specifically designed to cover the requisite skills and basic business knowledge that is vital to complete the program. The specific content in each module provides our students with the three key competencies for success in today's business world: business fundamentals, global consciousness, presentations and execution skills. 1-year MBA case study method
Many class sessions are taught using the Harvard Business School case method of
instruction. The case study method works well when doing an MBA in one year, and
encourages students to improve their communication and problem-solving skills by
carefully analyzing real management situations. The case study approach follows
a distinct progression: first, individual preparation and analysis; next, small
group discussion and review; and finally, a full class debate. The functional, industry,
and geographic diversity present in these discussions provides an opportunity for
you to learn from your classmates as well as from your professors. It is also a
valuable way for you to practice articulating and defending your ideas. There are
no right or wrong answers in the case study method, though there is frequently follow-up
information to illustrate how the problem was solved in reality.
1-year MBA Student life cycle
Designed to minimize interruption to a busy career, Hult's fast-track, one-year
MBA program is an intense combination of classroom and real-life learning. The Hult
MBA experience centers around your cohort—a group of approximately 60 students with
whom you will complete the first two modules. Working so closely with your classmates
allows for rich discussions, experience sharing, professional and personal bonds,
and intellectual debate to develop quickly.
When you move onto your last two modules, you are free to decide where you want
to do your elective courses among Hult's four campuses in London, Boston, Dubai,
and Shanghai. Through this campus rotation*, you will be able to gain a true global
